Despite not coming from a family wine tradition, Josep Lluís Pérez and his family settled in Priorat in 1981 and became one of the great masters of the region, credited with revolutionising this small Tarragona denomination, now admired worldwide. Since 2000, the Mas Martinet vineyards, olive trees, and surrounding forest have been managed as a single agro-system under the principles of agroecology. Today, it is his daughter, Sara Pérez, who runs the cellar.
