Aminta is the most recent estate owned by the Cecchi family. Acquired in 2018, its name embodies the heart of the family tradition and the profound connection to the land that hosts the winery: Aminta is born from the fusion of the two names Anita and Amiata.
Anita Sardelli, Andrea Cecchi’s mother, is a source of inspiration for the entire family, for her vision, her teachings, her approach to life and business, as well as for her strong artistic sense, which provided the creative and chromatic elements that inspired the labels of the estate’s two wines. Monte Amiata, which dominates the landscape, represents the natural boundary of the territory and has a strong impact on the climate and the quality and variety of the soils.
From its three vineyards, Aminta produces a Brunello di Montalcino and a Rosso di Montalcino, the embodiment of the Cecchi family’s vision: to maximize the identity of the territory, always guided by a love of Sangiovese.
