Azelia Barolo is a Nebbiolo wine crafted from seven different vineyards in the Piedmont region of Italy. Mid-weight yet full-bodied, it shows a light garnet hue and an enticing bouquet of fruit, liquorice, and blue flowers. On the palate, layers of dark cherry, plum, blood orange, exotic spice, cedar, and tobacco unfold with precision. Fermented with ambient yeasts and aged for 40 days with submerged cap, the wine then rests for two years in large Slavonian oak botti, ensuring minimal oak influence and preserving varietal purity.
An excellent-value Barolo, versatile enough to enjoy throughout the year.
