Light yellow colour with slight golden highlights. The aromas are beautifully balanced, with notes of candied lemon, pineapple and apricot, followed by buttery notes of coconut milk and caramel. The attack on the palate is direct and fresh, with good breadth and a long, creamy finish. Notes of hawthorn, toasted almonds, honey and acacia blossom emerge. Villa Blanche Chardonnay is one of the great successes of Calmel & Joseph, and this vintage upholds that fine reputation.
