The first vintage of this wine was produced in 2005. Marco de Grazia sought to remove the small quantities of white grapes traditionally planted alongside the reds in old vineyards, crafting an Etna Rosso made exclusively from Nerello. The white grapes – a blend of native varietals including Carricante, Catarratto, Inzolia, Grecanico, and Minnella – instead became the foundation for his Etna Bianco, with Carricante prevailing. All grapes are sourced from old vines, and the result is a perfectly harmonious and delicious wine.
This wine carries the spontaneous grace of a dancer, retaining brightness and lively pace. Subtly approachable when young, it gains depth and complexity with age, revealing the nobility of its terroir.
