Made from 100% Gamay, the vines average 30 years of age and cover 3.8 hectares in the south of the appellation, near the communes of Millery and Orliénas. The soils consist of glacial moraines with some granitic areas.
Certified organic, the harvest and sorting are carried out by hand. The grapes are partially de-stemmed and placed in tanks, with around one third kept as whole clusters. Fermentation is conducted by indigenous yeasts, with very gentle extraction. The wine is aged for six months in stainless-steel tanks.
