Domaine des Forges was founded in 1890, when Mr Pierre Robineau, a grocer and fabric merchant, purchased two hectares of vineyards. One of the plots, named Le Clos des Forges, gave the estate its name. Since then, five generations of winegrowers have succeeded one another, establishing Domaine des Forges as a historic and renowned estate within the Loire Valley. For over twenty years, Stéphane and Séverine Branchereau have worked to preserve this heritage, combining deep respect for tradition with a spirit of innovation.
