VADIO is located in the village of Poutena in the Bairrada region. It is a small family project, founded in 2005 by Luís Patrão, with the central aim of recovering traditional grape varieties and producing authentic DOC Bairrada wines. The estate comprises thirteen vineyards across Vale D. Pedro, totalling 10 hectares, divided into 27 distinct plots. An old warehouse has been simply adapted for wine production. VADIO’s wines follow a classic style, respecting the authenticity of the region and the character of the grape varieties from which they are made.
