At J. Lohr, they have farmed sustainably for decades in their chosen appellations of Monterey, Paso Robles, and Napa Valley. From the cool-climate regions of Monterey’s Arroyo Seco and Santa Lucia Highlands, they craft Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. In Paso Robles, they focus on Cabernet Sauvignon, other Bordeaux grapes, as well as Rhône varieties from the warmer climate. And in Napa Valley, they produce outstanding single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon.
