Château Picque Caillou is situated at the gates of Bordeaux, in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation — the historic cradle of the Bordeaux vineyard.

A close neighbour of the prestigious Haut-Brion and Pape Clément châteaux, this 26-hectare vineyard takes its name from its terroir: the pebbly soils formed from sediments deposited by the nearby Garonne River over thousands of years.
