Raúl Pérez Ultreia Saint Jacques is a Spanish wine that has been capturing attention worldwide. Made exclusively from Mencía grapes grown in the Bierzo region of Spain, it displays a deep violet colour and a complex aromatic profile of black fruits, spice and mineral notes. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, yet beautifully balanced, with a long and elegant finish. The wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, which lend a subtle smokiness and smooth texture. An excellent partner for grilled meats, stews and hearty pasta dishes, it is best served at a temperature of 16–18°C.
